The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian review

I just went and saw The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian. First off, I'll just say WOW. There that's done. Anyway, this movie was amazing. I'm a huge C.S. Lewis fan and this movie was better than the book. I thought the first one was good, this one makes it look like a Barney rerun. They took a great story, changed a few things, and came out with a story that has a moral lesson, drama, action, adventure, comedy, tear jerker moments, romance, great battle sequences, everything. Take just about ever movie genre there is and this movie probably has elements from it. The visual effects are great, as they were in the first one, the acting is superb, the battle sequences large, suspenseful, and masterfully done, the story is great, and the romance is there without being at all overpowering. Ben Barnes, a somewhat newcomer to film as this is only his third movie, is great. It's a wonder that he's gone as long as he has without being discovered for a major movie. Definitely an actor to keep an eye on. All the children have grown up, which makes the movie a bit more grownup. There are some changes from the book, and I was a bit apprehensive. But, while this movie doesn't follow the book scene for scene, it captures the spirit of the movie and has all the same elements, just in a slightly different order. It does follow some scenes exactly as the book has them though. I had high expectations for this movie and it not only met them, it surpassed them. Four stars out of five.

I can't wait to see it!! Just from watching the previews it looks like a really good movie! I'm supposed to go see it w/ some friends on Monday, but we don't know if that'll happen. My sister might have jury duty that day, although we're praying she doesn't because it is (we're very sure) a very serious case that could drag on for a long time. And it'll be her first time as a juror, so could you pray that she doesn't get chosen to do it? Thanks.

P.S. Romance? I don't remember any romance in the book. I'm predicting it's between Susan and Caspian. Don't tell me if I'm right. :-D
